Product Care

VALR goods are built to last. How you care for them determines how long they do.

Tops — General

  • Machine wash cold, inside out
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Do not iron directly over print
  • No bleach, no fabric softener
  • Turn inside out before every wash — this protects the print and the outer fabric

Quarter Zips

  • Machine wash cold
  • Zip closed before washing — this protects the zipper and prevents snags
  • Hang dry preferred for structure retention
  • No fabric softener on performance variants — it degrades moisture management properties

Headwear

  • Spot clean with damp cloth for surface dirt
  • Hand wash cold if full clean is required
  • Reshape the crown while damp and allow to air dry
  • Do not machine wash or machine dry — this will damage the panel structure
  • Do not dry in direct heat

Limited drops

  • The 250th Anniversary Series and other limited drops should be treated as collectibles if you intend to preserve them
  • For display storage, clean before storing and keep out of direct sunlight
  • For wear, follow the standard tops care instructions
