FAQ
Common Questions
Core answers on shipping, issuance, drops, Pathfinders, Enigma, and how the system works.
Most VALR goods are produced after you order. Production typically takes 3–7 business days, followed by 5–10 business days for standard domestic shipping. During new drops, pre-orders, or high-volume release periods, timelines may extend slightly. You will receive tracking as soon as your order ships.
Because most items are produced to order, we do not offer standard change-of-mind returns. If your item arrives defective or incorrect, contact us within 14 days and we will make it right. Size-related issues may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on product type and fulfillment status.
The Founding 250 applies only to qualifying purchases from the 250th Series. It recognizes the first 250 qualifying 250th Series garments issued during the launch window. Those recognized receive Founding status and the benefits listed on the Founding 250 details page. Recognition is tied to verified qualifying orders after the applicable order window closes. View full Founding 250 details.
A drop is a limited issuance window. A design is made available for a defined period and then closed. Once closed, that exact issued design is retired.
No. Once a drop closes, that issued design does not restock. Future releases may revisit an idea, theme, category, or design language, but the closed issued design itself does not return.
Once a drop closes, that exact issued design is closed permanently. However, VALR may return to a theme, phrase, silhouette, symbol system, or product category in a new way. Core Issue items may also reflect permanent brand language or institutional design cues that appear across multiple releases. Similar does not mean reissued — if it returns, it does so as a distinct release, not a restock of the original.
Pathfinders is an experiential program built around exploration, learning, and progression. The shirt is the starting point for a broader journey of destinations, achievements, and milestones. It is not just a standard product — it is designed to be experienced over time.
Experiential wear is apparel designed to do more than be worn. It invites participation, discovery, progression, or interaction over time. In our world, the garment is often the entry point to something larger — a program, a puzzle, a community, a system, or a story.
“Issue” is VALR’s term for adding an item to your order. It reflects the idea that each piece is intentionally issued, not simply stocked. Functionally, it means “Add to Cart.”
Each product page includes sizing guidance when available. We recommend comparing the measurements to a shirt you already own and like. If you are between sizes, sizing up is usually the safer choice.
Orders begin processing quickly after they are placed. If you need to request a change, contact us as soon as possible at [email protected]. We cannot guarantee modifications once production has started.
Not always. Orders containing multiple items may ship separately depending on product type, supplier, or production timing. If that happens, you will receive tracking for each shipment.
Pre-order means you are reserving an item during its active order window before fulfillment is completed. Pre-order timelines may differ from standard made-to-order timelines and will be noted on the product page when applicable.
Yes. VALR Supply and Enigma by VALR operate under the same parent brand ecosystem. VALR focuses on heritage, issued goods, and institutional clarity. Enigma is more cryptologic, layered, and interactive. Shared foundation, different signals.
Not always. Many Enigma releases include encoded, hidden, or layered elements, but not every item will function the same way. Some are overt. Some are subtle. Some are simply aligned with the Enigma design language without requiring active decoding.
No. Enigma is designed to work on more than one level. Some customers will simply enjoy the look and story. Others will go deeper into the hidden layers, references, and interactive elements.
Absolutely. Enigma is built to welcome curiosity, not screen for expertise. You do not need to be a puzzle person to enjoy the design, the concept, or the experience. Some pieces are simply appreciated visually. Others invite deeper engagement if and when you want it.
Yes. Where applicable, Enigma experiences are designed with a progression path that may include hints, guidance, or structured help. You are not expected to do everything alone, and asking for help is part of the process — not a failure of it.
Yes. For eligible Enigma releases, we provide a support path through hint and solve pages so you can keep moving without losing the experience. The goal is not to gatekeep the concept — it is to give you multiple ways to engage with it.
Some Enigma releases may connect to dedicated hint and solve pages that help guide customers through the experience. Hint pages are intended to nudge rather than spoil. Solve pages are for those moments when you want confirmation, closure, or a way forward. Availability and structure may vary by release.
Sometimes. Certain Enigma releases may connect to deeper content, hidden layers, future access, or related experiences. Not every item unlocks the same kind of outcome, and some are designed more for story and discovery than for a reward mechanic.
When a release includes an interactive, encoded, or hidden component, that will usually be signaled on the product page or within the post-purchase experience. Some layers are immediate. Others are meant to be discovered over time.
Enigma is primarily expressed through issued products, though the way people encounter and engage with it may expand over time.
Product contents are listed on each product page. The shirt is the core starting point. Additional program elements such as badges, field materials, or future accessories may be offered separately unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Pathfinders is designed to support individual families, local communities, and chapter-based participation over time. Its structure may expand as the program grows, but the goal is to make it usable across more than one kind of group.
